Mary Cunningham

Mary has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the University of Sydney in 1994. She was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 1996 and to the High Court of Australia in July 1997. She completed her Masters of Laws at the University of New South Wales in 1998.

Mary first obtained broad experience in the community law sector then by doing research with the Justice Research Centre.

She then moved to the private sector and accumulated extensive experience in property law, commercial litigation and building and construction law.  In July 2004, Mary commenced her own legal practice with Cunningham Legal.

Mary has a flourishing and diverse clientele. She has developed a wealth of experience in wills and estates, family law and property law.   She is adept at dealing with individual legal needs including alternative dispute resolution where possible.

Mary has broad experience in litigation, property transactions (business and personal), buying and selling businesses, leases, debt recovery, family law including same sex couples, wills and estates including contested estates.

Mary commutes to work on a bicycle.
