Katy worked as a family lawyer for many years in the community legal sector at Macquarie Legal Centre and Women’s Legal Service NSW before moving into the private sector in 2014.

Katy is a founding member of the Parramatta Region Family Law Interagency and continues to be active on this committee.  She has given papers and facilitated workshops on a range of issues including:

  • The recent family violence amendments to the Family Law Act
  • Same sex couples and family law
  • Birth certificates issues and how they impact on the LGBTI community
  • Legal pathways for people experiencing family law issues
  • The NSW coordinated family dispute resolution program

Katy is a passionate advocate for our family law clients and is committed to finding creative and effective solutions to the myriad of family law issues which may arise.

Katy provides pro-bono family law legal advice at Inner City Legal Centre.

Katy is a member of the Law Society of NSW, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, Macquarie Legal Centre, Women’s Legal Services NSW and the Greater Sydney Family Law Pathways Network (Parramatta Region Family law Interagency).
